I came down from up North for an event in Nottingham and, after messaging a few salons closer to my hotel, Vicki was the one who replied — and I’m so glad she did! She kindly managed to squeeze me in, and from just a brief chat and a few inspo pics, she instantly knew exactly what I wanted. The updo was absolute perfection!! I received so many compliments throughout the day. My event started at 2pm and went well into the early hours of Sunday morning, yet my hair stayed flawless through all the dancing! Vicki is truly talented and such a lovely person to chat with. Highly recommend her to anyone needing hair done for a special occasion!

From a person who suffers severely from vertigo and panic and puts off going to strange places ,this turned out to be perfect hairdressers for me ,from the minute I stepped through the door there was no judgement and friendly, warm,trustworthy,relaxing welcome from the owner and staff ,only went in for dry trim but you would have thought I was going in for full treatment ,I was made very welcome and I will be back for more ,thank you very much 😀

I booked a hair styling appointment for a family event, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The stylist curled my hair beautifully — it looked elegant, natural, and stayed perfect throughout the whole day. The atmosphere in the salon was warm and professional. This was my first time at Retreat and I was so happy with the service. I called every salon in Long Eaton and this one was the only one who got back to me. My hair was a mess but it was easily fixed: washed, trimmed, the weight cut out and blow dried in less than an hour. Vicky put me at ease super quick and made the whole situation seamless. I am really impressed with my haircut. Thank you 😊
